Phildesco® Inc Organic Virgin Coconut Oil is cold-pressed from 100% fresh organic coconuts. It is free of hydrogenated oils, is 100% raw and unrefined, and features a mild to strong coconut aroma.
Coconut oil is widely known for a multitude of unique health properties that have sustained populations for generations. Free from trans-fatty acids, coconut oil is characterized by its high proportion of Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCTs) relative to other fats and oils. Among its peers, it is also the single highest source of lauric acid, an MCT found in human breast milk that exhibits anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties.
Our Organic Virgin Coconut Oil is a great substitute for vegetable oil in almost all types of cooking, and is a great dairy-free alternative to butter. It is also very moisturizing for skin and hair.
